Matt finally achieved being number one in something -- the Most Hated Member of Congress -- even by his own party.

His coup to topple Keven McCarthy as Speaker has backfired on Gaetz. Supposedly Matt implemented the coup because McCarthy would not stop the Ethics Committee investigation into Gaetz's activities (which is not something that the Speaker can really do without violating ethics as well). In response, the Republicans unhappy with Gaetz's coup have demanded that the Ethics Committee broaden their investigation in to Matt --- to go beyond venmo'ing money to underage teens so they cross state lines for Matt's sexual gratification.

Soon-departing former House Speaker Kevin McCarthy, R-Calif., took a parting shot at the GOP congressman who led the charge to oust him.

McCarthy took aim at firebrand Florida GOP Rep. Matt Gaetz while talking to reporters on Thursday, saying he was "psychotic" and the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) studies minds like his.

"He was psychotic," McCarthy said of Gaetz's actions that led to McCarthy's ouster as House speaker.

"People study that type of crazy mind, right?" McCarthy told a small group of outlets including Fox News Digital. "Mainly the FBI."

It was the latest volley in the steady feud between McCarthy and Gaetz, whose motion to vacate ultimately led to McCarthy losing the House speakership.

McCarthy recently told Politico that Gaetz belongs behind bars when asked about the House's Florida Republicans.

"You have a cross-section [of the delegation]," McCarthy told the outlet in late November. "You have Gaetz, who belongs in jail, and you have serious members."

McCarthy's criticism appeared to reference the ongoing probe of Gaetz by the House Ethics Committee into allegations of sexual misconduct and misuse of his funding.

Jacob Chansley, the infamous January 6th convict known as the "QAnon Shaman," accused Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-FL) of being a fraud after Gaetz blew him off at this weekend's Turning Point USA-sponsored "AmericaFest."

Chansley on early Monday morning posted a video on his Twitter account that showed him trying to get Gaetz's attention as he walked by, only to have Gaetz ignore him and continue on his way.

Chansley then fumed that Gaetz wouldn't give him the time of day despite the fact that he has pledged solidarity with the hundreds of people who were criminally charged for violently storming the Capitol on January 6th, 2021.

"Freaking coward!" Chansley shouted at Gaetz. "These are the people representing to Americans, they can't even speak to an American... He can't talk to me, won't even talk to me! These are big names claiming that they're for the little guy getting screwed by the big machine and he will not talk to me!"

On his Twitter account, Chansley would continue to post caps-heavy rants accusing Gaetz of "stealing" his ideas for his campaign platform.

"THIS IS WHERE I CALL OUT Rep. Matt Gaetz for stealing MY CAMPAIGN PLATFORM after my Newsmax interview on Nov. 13th shortly thereafter HE proposed 'his Anti-Corruption Plan' THAT 3 of the main ideas in MY CAMPAIGN PLATFORM!" he fumed in one post. "I THINK HE KNEW I was gonna ask him about it! COWARDICE!!!"

At the New Hampshire opening of Donald Trump's campaign office, a mere two days before the primary election, a man came up with a small blow-up doll.

"I came with a bag full of underage girls," he told Gaetz.

"Dude," Gaetz said with an awkward smile while taking photos with supporters.

"Get him outa here," a voice can be heard off camera. He was shoved to the back of the crowd as he fumbled to put the small doll back into a bag.

The move comes after Gaetz was heckled while talking about young conservatives.

"Now, as to what I'd say to young folks today, man, you meet a young conservative today," Gaetz explained. "It's a different breed, because if they, if they're outspoken, they've already been called every name in the book. Just for being a Republican, they've been called a racist, a sexist, a xenophobe, phobes I haven't even heard of."

"What's the youngest schoolgirl you've ever been with?" the heckler yelled. He then asked if Gaetz had flown on Jeffrey Epstein's plane.
