Are you even reading the thread? Where on this thread did I say Tebow should have started ahead of Sanchez? Show me the link. Never did I say that. My only comments defending Tebow where against Big Arrow's constant bigoted attacks on his religion which has absolutely NOTHING to do with whether or not he is a good quarterback. Where do you get your garbage from? Can you even link anything I have said to the contrary. Tebow was never suppose to start in NY. He was hired to be a backup quarterback. That is why he was never put in there to start. They had just paid Sanchez a huge contract extension, they were not about to not play him. They also knew Sanchez was a head case and having a quarterback controversy would be the worst thing for him.
Some of you guys need to spend more time reading the actual thread before launching attacks on me. And in case if you are wondering, it f I were the coach of the Jets, I never would have started him at quarterback either. The Jets don't have the right system for a guy like that. They built their offense around a high profile big time passing USC quarterback who they thought was going to throw the ball 40 times a game. You can't suddenly change that just to give Tebow a few snaps.
I've stated for the record Tebow is done in the NFL. He is three years in now without a system. He got screwed when Josh McDaniels got canned after drafting him in Denver. He needed to spend 2 or 3 seasons on the bench behind a good quarterback and get indoctrinated into a system. He didn't get to do that. He was behind Kyle Orton, one of the worst quarterbacks in the league then thrown in as a starter with a team built to pass the ball. Call it bad luck. Say it wouldn't mattered anyway. The guy is done.
It doesn't change the fact that Manning has a history of choking. I saw this first hand at Florida when he lost all 4 years to the Gators when they had a pretty damn good team. He choked his entire career with the Colts before he finally got them a suberbowl ring.
However the relentless attacks on Tebow's religion are absurd. If Bigarrow had spent some time talking real football like me and badger do on this thread I wouldn't have treated him so poorly. But that guys rolls in hear making one bigoted remark after another and laughs about it. So he got treated with a proportional response to the crap he posted here.
