Correct me if im wrong as im not big into baseball, but havent they been testing heavily for HGH since all the stuff that came out regarding Bonds, McGuire, Clemens, etc... 5-10 years ago?
How would he have gotten away with it for so long? His numbers seem pretty consistent over time when I looked at his yearly stats, when you look at bonds, mcguire and sosa all of a sudden their stats exploded during the time when HGH was running rampant, and that seems to be in early 2000/late 90's, Pujols started in 2001. I dont understand how he could still be getting away with using HGH, but admittedly i dont know much about it.

You should learn to deal with your anger, and quit trolling, I Just did a google search, and figured out the stats.
Bonds hit 73 homeruns in 2001 which was 24 more homeruns then any time in his history.
McGuire hit 70 in 1998 and 65 in 1999, which was an anomally
Sosa Hit 64 in 2001 which was an anomally.
Pujols started in the league in 2001 and has proceeded to get better and better over time.
Looks like the time when Steroids were running rampant was right before Pujols time. Here are Pujols stats, he hit the most homeruns of his career in 2009, I cant see how he would have gotten away with it in 2009, but feel free to correct me if you want to instead of just doing a drive by.
They don't test for HGH, that would require a blood test. They've only gotten union approval for urine testing for steroids. Hence, there is still no way of telling who the hell is breaking the rules in baseball.

I stand corrected, thank you for pointing that out in a civilised way, unlike Big Arrow. I never even realized this since im not a baseball fan, i would have thought it was a no brainer after all that other shit that went down that they would be testing for HGH, i guess im wrong.

Ryan Braun tested for elevated testosterone levels that were found to be synthetic. It would be another black eye for baseball, but I think most people are so cynical at this point that they don't believe most of these guys are clean to begin with.
btw, this new hgh testing program is a complete joke as well (it was news to me about not being able to test players during the season). So they essentially just have to be clean during the designated dates and then can cycle back on the stuff during the entire season.

If this is the case and guys can cycle in and out of it and get away with it provided they only do it during the offseason, wouldnt that also seem to imply that the Olympics, and almost every single professional sport is tainted? I mean whats stopping an Olympic athlete from using HGH right up until the time they qualify for the Olympics and have to start taking testing?
Im almost starting to think they should just legalize it altogether. As a libertarian, i really dont care if adults want to use HGH, but legalizing it altogether in sports presents somewhat of a problem as you really would not want to have a bunch of 12 year old kids that look up to these guys, who want to make the big leagues hammering down steroids just so they could "make it" before they even know what they are doing, just to get into the big leagues.
