As long as guns flood the streets and republicans fight to keep it that way my point is very valid.Keep the guns out of the hands of criminals and they cant kill with them.
Wrong once again, we’ve already established that gun laws do not keep guns out of the hands of criminals, criminals dont obey the law and will get their guns regardless. There are countries with “zero gun” ownership laws, illegal to own a firearm and their gun homicide rates are much much higher than the US. Looking at other countries we’ve established, by your own admission, that social programs and lower poverty rates have a positive impact lowering gun homicides.
Debate over dude. If you want to lower gun homicides, solve the problem why so many turn to a life of crime, specially inner-city youth like we see in Chicago.
Gun laws keep bombs out of the hands of criminals.Gun laws keep fully automatic weapons out of the hands of criminals etc so laws can keep weapons out of the hands of criminals.

We are talking about The US,not Mexico/Columbia etc. You just love false equivalencies.
Since 1986 there have been 3 deaths due to fully automatic weapons in The US.During that same period there have been hundreds or thousands of mass murders with their nearly identical semi automatic variants.Gun laws keep fully automatic weapons and other weapons like bombs out of the hands of criminals.
Yes most of those “mass murders” are drug/gang related. Your statistics taking drive bys and gang retaliations are a lie when forced on the average populace.
And once again you only focus on guns and not the actual cutural issues that create the problems in our inner-cities.
So lets keep the semi auto assault rifles out of their hands like we keep the fully auto weapons out of their hands.
Republican policies make that very difficult .It would be easier to do if we had domestic and foreign polices like the previous country you mentioned Switzerland.
