And where is your evidence of the CDC saying standard masks don't work. What the CDC said is that N95 masks don't work for most of the public since the majority of people don't understand the proper way to use them. This was at a time when there was a shortage of PPE for hospital workers and a run of supplies. The CDC was attempting to stop the hoarding of N95 masks needed by hospitals. Why don't you understand the context of their statement... but of course this is like all the other COVID-denier nonsense where you push one sentence in a statement without context to push a false narrative.
