Masking Outdoors? NYT confirms moron status of GWB and friends

As outlined by medical experts... precautions need to be in place until the vaccination level increases to a level where society has effectively achieved herd immunity.

As the vaccination level rises, we will see various restrictions rolled back across states & communities in our country. At about 50% vaccination level we will start to see the impact of antibody immunity slowing spread - this will drive a reduction in cases which will allow restrictions to be reduced on a permanent basis (without concern for having to re-impose restrictions due to reversals).

If U.S. society does not arrive at herd immunity due to vaccine hesitancy then we are likely to see some types of restrictions remain in place for a long time. The sooner a large number of people are vaccinated the quicker we will get back to normal.
So are you waiting for someone to tell you we are at herd immunity? And then you will take off your mask and no longer observe social distancing?

COVID is endemic. It’s never going away.
So I guess you will be hiding and wearing a mask forever???

I said this 8 months ago....
And as usual... VZ's (COMMON SENSE) rules the day.

Well you're certainly entitled to your opinion, and like I said I'm all for wearing the things in stores etc. But there's no way you are going to catch it outdoors walking down the street or or riding a bike etc. And what you said about "people that depend on them"... once again, these masks don't prevent infection. They prevent the spread. So if someone doesn't have it, walking down the street wearing a cloth mask they bought off Etsy to be fashionable isn't going to do a damn thing for anybody, so color me 11 years old... I think its funny.
Common sense goes a long way my friend.

.

Right, just like you can get dust from a far away dusty ballpark blown into your eyes, even though dust is heavier than a virus; the virus can also be blown.

Pollen is blown over distances ... and is heavier than covid ... and affects people.

Somehow, you seem to believe that the virus is programmed to self destruct after traveling 6 feet.

You said, "there's no way." Since you are certain, provide us your evidence, so that we all can be certain.

You said that they "prevent the spread." Here's how:

If a mask can stop the virus from passing through the mask while I exhale. Then it can stop that same virus from going through the mask from the other direction, while I inhale.

Here's the common sense part:

If you sneeze, your mask will "prevent the spread" and block the virus from leaving your mask.

If you sneeze without a mask on; wouldn't my mask block your sneeze the same way your mask would have?

And didn't my mask just prevent it from infecting me?

It certainly does. Maybe that guy realizes what I just had to explain here?

...
and wearing a mask forever???

Man, we're going to have to wear the fucking mask for decades if we want to go into the local shoppes. This is never going to go away now. Mask-wearing and all the other social distancing BS has now been ingrained into two very impressionable and malleable generations that have never been through any trauma other than having a loss of cell phone service for a few minutes per day.

There will be a new movie soon. "Dr. Fauci or: How I Learned to Stop Worrying and Love the Mask."

Which Biden vaccine did you get?

Where's your cite saying you ruled the day?

EDIT: Where's your cite saying it's impossible to catch it by walking down the street or riding a bike etc.

Where's your cite saying that there's a zero percent chance?

And FTW, those posts where before the vaccines were widely available.

You searched ... and dug that up ... in order to get ... some sort of attaboy? LOL!

Not today. Not from me. Unless you cite credible sources that say walking down the street and riding bikes protects you from the virus.

If it's universal, then sources should be everywhere. Or are you saying that because you believe it, it has to be universal?
None of the above.
Just this part...
"you rule the day"
You're catching on there...

I gotta dip out 4 now.
Peace all.

VZ said something pertinent...

"Common sense goes a long way."

I agree with that wholeheartedly.

@vanzandt here are some search engines. Please find sources that tell us that you can't catch the virus by,
walking down the street,
nor by riding bikes.

Please bless us with cites supporting your universal common sense, because right now, the people photographed far below--though being part of the universe, are seemingly only relying on medical science and bonafide medical experts on the subject.

The Takeaway

These folks would like to see proof that your common sense outweighs the experts defined above:
