Just one thing to watch as it caused a massive global sell-off starting in Asia for no reason a few years ago. The last couple of dates however had nothing. If you believe the Asians could be superstitious again, you would act on Friday 8/9/13.

The 2005 date (1/2/05), and especially the 2007 date (2/27/07) had strong sell-offs. The past two dates did nothing.

While I don't subscribe to Armstrong's beliefs, superstition is what happens when logical minds meet chaotic (or random) results. Look at how many traders use superstitions to trade and call them edges. On reflection, perhaps you are right.
