In this case the couple was not married, you can only imagine if they were. The child does NOT belong to the guy.

They will do everything they can to take your money away from you.

Here you have another perfect example on how there is something very wrong with this society and system that is totally against any man who has any money. A system that allows crazy things like that to happen ! I refuse to be part of it in any way shape or form.

When you have sex use condoms, always. Sure it feels "not as good" but is 18 years of child support worth 30 seconds of pleasure ? If for whatever reason you can not get laid, PAY for it, prostitution should be legal and marriage is a bad form of legalized prostitution. By the way a whore and a maid are cheaper then a bad marriage. Do not marry! If you do and something goes wrong you are going to pay for it.

If you are still young and not well established and successful in your career and you have kids and/or marry you are pretty much saying that you think very little of yourself and how far you will get in life. You are probably going to be changing the oil in my car when it needs service. You will be a slave and in debt for the rest of your life.

If you give "them" a chance to screw you up, they will.

MONTREAL — A woman who had three children with a Montreal multimillionaire without marrying him has lost her bid to get a lump sum of $50 million as well as alimony payments.

The couple, who met in her native Brazil in 1992 when she was 17 and he was 32, lived together for seven years before they split up in 2001.

The woman was also seeking a monthly payment of $56,000 for herself and a share of the family estate.

Quebec Superior Court Justice Carole Hallee rejected the requests but said in her ruling Thursday the woman is entitled to the $34,000 a month she currently receives in child support.

Hallee's ruling states the couple's relationship could not be called a marriage under the wording of federal or provincial legislation.

She said Quebec deliberately chose to not subject live-in couples to the same obligations as those faced by married couples, especially with regard to spousal support and the sharing of assets.

Quebec is the only province that does not recognize common-law unions.

Hallee said the province has respected a basic human right - the freedom to decide whether one wants to get married.

And Hallee added there is nothing to prevent live-in couples from signing financial agreements either during or after their relationship so they can benefit from the same rights as married couples.

The couple can't be identified under a provincial family law aimed at protecting the identity of the children.

When he appeared in court last January, the 49-year-old businessman insisted he shouldn't have to pay because he never legally married the woman.

The defendant testified he told the woman during their relationship he didn't believe in the institution of marriage.

"It's not my cup of tea," the frustrated man said when grilled by his ex-girlfriend's lawyer for his opinion on holy matrimony.

He argued that even though they broke up in 2001, he bought her a $2.5-million home, continues to pay for her servants and takes care of many of her other bills, which totalled more than $200,000 last year.

Hollywood people is "fine" example of why marriage has gone through shithole in this country. Extremely rarely, people from showbiz took very serious in their marriage. Too often, they took it to the bank, grabbing public attention to further their careers.

the idea of marriage was created in the past and it might have worked back then, now schools and the media have changed so many things, people have a delusional view of life, men and women have these shitty expectations, ie. no matter how much attention and care they get, women are never thankful, they think the celebrity life style is their birth right, to make matters even better, countries like america have adopted laws that give men and women equal power and wealth (losers and cheap fucked up useless people benefit from democracy and socialism, decent people if any suffer the stupidity of the fucking pathetic masses). how is respect guaranteed in such a relation?

the society has no problem with gays and shit, but it can't tolerate prostitution, what fucked up nonsense, you watch tv and you see people doing indecent and disrespectful things for money, but having sex for money is not OK, what??? america with all its double standards, what fucked up bullshit
 
I do have some great ideas on how to organize post-marriage society. Good for the girls. Good for the men. Good for the kids. It does take some emotional maturity though. The sex is awesome.
 
Not only it is delusional but marriage nowdays is extremely hard to enjoy and keep.

When the parents of your parents got married they had the same problems couples have today, but back then at least they made an effort to make their marriage work !

Now everyone has 25 emails,txt messages, 99 virtual friends and God knows what else. In short if you give people a chance to screw up most likely they will. Most people of course do screw up. If you are one of the lucky few who got a nice partner and marriage is working for you, you are the exception NOT the rule.


About prostitution:

You bring up a very interesting point.

A friend of mine went two times to Thailand. Sometimes in a casual conversation with strangers the subject might come up. It always amazes me to observe the patronizing look and sometimes words of most people with high moral standard. Somehow society consider a single man like that as a pervert or someone sick with an addiction. To them he is just a horny dog. They are all ready to judge how wrong it is for him to meet younger women and everyone points the finger.

On one side you have a regular guy like my friend. On the other side you have the great Hugh Hefner.


That guy has a bunch of "girfriends" at all times. They are very hot ( money and beauty always go together ) and they could be my friend daughters...but guess what ?

They are not considered prostitutes, but models, actress or whatever. Of course, in that case an 80 year old has plenty of things in common with a 20 yera old. No one is judging anymore.

Society considers Hugh Hefner like a fun guy, someone talented and or someone that at the end of the day is viewed in a positive way.

So you see society in general does not give a damn of what you did, or what you do, who you are or what you look like. If you have a lot of money you are in. And when you have A LOT of money any judgment from anyone is totally irrilevant. At that point their opinion will do nothing against the only measurable reality and perception. Money.

Hugh Hefner is a great visionary who founded a magazine with great articles and very nice colors, while my buddy is a pervert. However the main difference between the two is about 400 Million dollars.

How can two people with the same level of authority, same legal rights, same pay, same ... while at least one is incapable of comprehending shit live peacfully under the same roof for more than a few days?
