Leave it to surf to look at a chart that bullish and see a short. What a joke.Quote from marketsurfer:
yes, it's finally happening after 4 false starts on my projections.
it's only a matter of time now untill someone offers me another 8 figure sum to trade, as a result of my gold calls here
Didn't you say you had had job offers as a result of your activities on ET?Quote from marketsurfer:
Your [SIC] seriously misled.

markets are a fluid creation that makes consistent exact predictions not possible....however, i speculate in the macro sense on this thread and continue to do so based on an ever changing information flow provided by the very market one is speculating in, I might add. Thus lies the inherent issue of man vs market.

At any rate, it's certainly not a lie that in the past year you have made an idiot of yourself by continually making stupid, uninformed calls with no rhyme or reason and then trying to claim that you're 'just a bit early'. That part is true, right? You've been making the same mistakes over and over, trying to predict when there's no need to do so. You've also been running down the methods of others when it's clear that your method ( find the most bullish instrument in the markets and start screaming 'sell' or find the most bearish and start screaming 'buy') isn't a method at all but a stupid joke that everyone can see through. That's true, right?
It's also true that when you make an ass of yourself, you attempt to paint the episode in some sort of positive light by saying ... let's see, what was it again?

You're not disputing these facts, are you surf?
No, I am not defending my calls and readily admit they have been attrocious lately.
however, as i stated previously, I am attempting to speculate in the macro sense and am not Kreskin.
I don't believe its making an ass of myself being wrong with market calls. the future is unwritten and I stand by my statement you listed above.
thanks for the clarification,
surf
It's not making an ass of yourself if you have substantially more winning calls than losers.Quote from marketsurfer:
