Quote from slacker:

As Dr. Phil would ask, "So, how is that working out for you?"

Quote from marketsurfer:

i have been offered multiple jobs, accepted 3 of them, raised capital in the mid 8 figures, met top finance people worldwide -- all as a derivative of writing my market thoughts and blogging my trading experience on ET.
LOL

Does this look like a quote from a guy who has any grasp on reality?

Not for anything Surf...but if the people you interviewed read the nonsense you post on here, they wouldn't give you the time of day. I would suggest in the future not to bring up your writings on here to anyone who you want to take you serious.

Perfect response to this whole thread, themickey.

The Nostradamus' of the market are not the ones participating and/or learning how to participate.

Anyone with experience knows not to tell the market what to do.

This thread is funda-mentally-retarded and does nothing productive besides prove the worthlessness of prediction with conviction...in the markets.

Quote from themickey:

Respectfully surf, why the necessity to predict. The fact you do so indicates clearly to all (smart traders) you can't trade.

Like a beach ball in the wind, the ball will go which ever direction the wind blows strong enough.
Same with gold or anything, it will go the way it will go.

Mate, until you click - penny drops on this, you're clueless, again, said with respect, but wake TFU !

T/A used correctly is not a prediction tool, T/A is a probability tool.
We place out trades taking the risk that reward will be higher than the risk.

So the point I'm trying to make is traders are gamblers as we don't know the outcome, but gambling without the negative stigma that gambling is wrong or evil or stupid.

Surf, did those people hire you to fade your predictions?

I apologise if it sounded rude, I just hope you didn't trade your analysis & left it to traders to establish positions :)
