How come you have a 100 point stop on the Dow if you are calling "the" bottom? 100 points is nothing, it's 1 day's noise, and you could easily be right but get stopped out and miss the trade with such a close stop.

Surely if calling a major bottom, your stop needs to be wide enough that a bit of noise or 1 day of bad news does not take you out of the trade?

I assume you're using your celibate lifestyle as a comparison to make that statement?

Don't make surf out to be more than he is. He is a financial writer (with some great stories) who happens to know wealthy individuals through his family & that social circle. He then helped direct their money toward niche funds. That's how he made (and makes) some good money.

He is not a trader nor an analyst. He is a writer & commentator. He is quite eccentric, for lack of a better word.

Most of the criticisms are spot on. His calls are notch above stock_turder's, at best. I actually agree with this call, I'm waiting for a nice pullback from the lows, in order to place a good short, it's overdue There will be a rally, CNBC will be crying that the bottom is in, all the pompous yuppie bozos will think everything is dandy and recession is over. Then we will see the real pain.
