Apparently Trumpy is gonna try to persued us all that our concerns about Covid-19 are all just "fake news".... so that we'll BTFD!

I suspect Trump will soon come away with egg on his face here. We certainly do NOT know enough about it at this point to conclude, "it's no biggie".... as Trump would want us to believe and behave accordingly.

After initially thought to be "contained to Wuhan, China", the virus has already spread "around the world"... and Trump wants us to dismiss the potential risk as "no worries"? Of course Trump wants the markets to "be on high and soaring" going into the election... but will/should we dismiss all risks to allow for that?

Wait till he talks, see actually what he says. Stopped by the grocery store yesterday, saw several people already wearing face masks, even one cashier.

Needed couple of parts for a faucet, thought I’d pick up a couple more n95 masks for family friends if needed while at the local Lowe’s - nearly sold out.

There’s an underlying panic brewing from a lack of information about this bug. Partly to blame on the lack of transparency from China and not having enough data. But all we hear is the bad coming out of China, S Korea, Italy.

So some level headedness, actual info in how to properly plan, what to expect, what the government is doing, will be helpful.
 
The problem with Trump is that he has been living on borrowed time and all of his undermining and purging of professionals and experts at places like DOJ, EPA, Intelligence, CDC etc is an avalanche we cannot out-run.

These places need experts and professionals in them, running them. Instead we have sycophants whose first job is to kiss Trump’s ass instead of protect the country.

So, yes, we will be on our back foot instead of forward leaning on this Coronavirus. There will be no press updates and administration experts to update the country. It will just be our chief medical officer Donald trump telling us that traumatic brain injuries are headaches and Coronavirus is harmless.

cancer and diabetes are not contagious. grouping Covid-19 with them is stupid and as you said it, abject stupidity is dangerous.

OK the DOW/DIA +DAL closed below200dma, as if 30+ old stocks are a benchmark?? LOL. QQQ may close closed above 50dma this week, it's stlll going up .WEB MD notes wash your hands + avoid sneezers sneezing in your face.
I use SDOW as more of a benchmark than hyped DOW/DIA+ SDOW going up like QQQ.......
