But I wanted to ask you something about chess, because in this thread you mentioned that you have "been in chess for 40 years" or some such, and have been coaching youngins in the game, etc.
Have you ever once in your life played chess with yourself? And I mean REALLY play with yourself, without looking up strategies. Have you ever faced that abyss? If not, I highly recommend it.
It is a true mind fuck, but will make you a better chess player in the end. Because once you know who YOU are in chess, the better you can mentor others on who THEY can be in chess.

I will say this however, ... if that 7 year old could beat me.... he or she can sure as hell beat you.
But with that said, no one beats me in chess.... and I would bet you every penny I have I would kick your ass. And I've never watched a YouTube, read a book, or looked at a Russian "template" for a strategy. I don't need to.
