Market or Limit order

On a very fast moving market and you want to get out of a position, do you do a market order and hope to get filled within reason even if its not the best price?? I notice that when I do a limit order I sometimes only get a partial fill. When the market is moving in one direction it sometimes passes part of my order.
Any comments?
 
There are techincal issues with stop orders in hybrid stocks. There have been late reports and/or erroneous time stamps. It is confusing at best, and if you are charged for orders in over 5 minutes, it is costing you money. (Thank you NYSE and Mr. Fain)
