the education would be that most of these so called gurus will lose you money.
How were you guys proved correct? Because some guy who posts on elitetrader claims that his friend was burned by MM.
curioustrader...I'm not calling you a liar. I would just need more proof then your word on this one.
I'm sure glad that I need a lot more proof for my beliefs to be validated. I'm sure it's just a lot easier to pat yourselves on the back though.
I don't support or dislike MM. I learned some good things from his blog, but would never give anyone my hard earned money without a lot of proof. The proof being years of IRS statements, bank account amounts,etc. curioustrader...if you do actually have a friend who got burned by MM, I'm sad to say that a fool and his money are easily parted.

LeroyB...your statement is a bit contradictory. one way you are saying that you don't support him On the other hand you seems to be beleiving in MM and his blog and hence looking for a "proof" of his fraud/scam. I wonder how come you are not part of his group ? or you are ? anyways...I don't have any proof but consider this...if MM had succeded (was able to make 100k in a month to the group member/s as per his plan) then why would someone complain ? if nobody complained then what you think would be my motive/reason to make a thread alive after it was dead for a while ? Obvoiusly I/or whoever is complaining has absolutely nothing to gain out of this..make sense ???

I never said I "believed" in MM. I said that I learned some good things from his blog and that is true...I did. I'm looking for proof because that is what I need to believe something...I don't do the faith thing too well...sorry.
I'm not part of his group because I would have needed massive amounts of proof to hand over $10,000. Like I stated before, I would have needed bank statement, IRS filings, trade account records. I've never seen any of these things and therefore I am not a part of his group of traders.

I've never seen anyone complain. You claim that one of your friend's got taken by MM, but you also say that you have no proof. Therefore, you shouldn't be claiming that which you have no proof of. This is all I have been trying to say in every post I have made in this Market Monk conversation. I have no allegience to MM or anyone else on these boards, but I do like the truth. That is something hard to find on these boards.

Maybe you can show us some proof by showing us the letters you (sorry...your friend) sent to the agencies that were suggested to you and their response? That might be a start of proving your claims. I believe Samson77 gave you some places to start. Did you write to any of these agencies???
