market likes Obama's stimulus idea's

I agree....
Obama is 1000x more intelligent than the Bush/Cheney combo...
Obama is not a C- fraternity brat guarded by his parents......
Obama is intelligent...and will think/react quickly....
I believe that Obama will make the best use of the tools that he has....and really has the makings of being a great president....

However .....structural changes really do need to happen such as a 10% consumption tax...and a world wide stock exchange....and medical adjustments....
One big tell tell sign will be how he ends up making the auto segment restructure....etc....in order to receive funds....
If Obama embraces capitalism and makes the structural changes....kudos to Obama.....

Didn't the market have a sharp rally after the Chinese announced their massive stimulus plan, only to fall apart later that day, and make new lows within a couple of weeks.
Don't see where BO's plan is any different. If throwing reams of money at a financial collapse worked, Japan would have been the strongest economy and market on the planet for the last 15 years.

Of course the market loves Obama's stimulus. It represents a transfer of wealth from taxpayers to shareholders. Thing about wealth transfers (as every socialist country has learned) is that more will not be created to transfer in the future.
Also, how is doing the same thing Bush was doing "change"? And why is it more intelligent when an under-accomplished community activist does the same thing as Bush is doing?

In this case anyone who gains the podium...is sort of stuck....with the same old same old....
One point is that whatever was spent in Iraq in terms of both money and people....IS LOST.....
Even "funny money" being spent on infrastructure is better thinking....
Iraq should have never happened....It was all about pursuing the world's cheapest oil lifting costs and largest supplies.....poorly planned....well meaning....but flawed from the beginning....typical of a C- student....
The political system in the US is a democracy by advertising model run by special interests....

Obama's plan is to invest in long term capital improvements and technologies that will make U.S.manufacturing industry more competitive, so that we quit sending dollars to foreign countries (a hallmark of Republican 'free market" administrations) , and keep the dollars circulating here in the U.S. I rather have schools, roads, broadband communication, than a million cell phones filling up some hole somewhere, or a bunch of bombs that can only explode.
Obama's administration will become known as the period of time when America became first again, even if Kudlow's and Limbaugh's friends don't become billionaires by raping our economy and country.
My prediction: recovery and prosperity via intelligent investment in our country.

I know.....but some of his recent comments....when one views what his possible options are....seemed more like a decent approach .....
ie when one runs an optimality problem...given a set number of constraints......
Hopefully the result will be better with an A student...than a C student......
ie his recent comments regarding the big 3 .....moving them to a smaller 2....implied bankruptcy but no bankruptcy, etc....this is on the right track......
