No....but you thought it worthy of starting an entire thread based on their merit. Now thats things arent going "as planned" you want to disassociate yourself from them. 100% guarenteed had we rallied, you'd be cheeleading how we should of all listened to IBD and how you told us so!

I ended 5 years of subscriptions E version IBD this year as well, since I am not fond of being inundated with ads when I pay for a sight. Should be ad free if a subscription fee is involved.

I studied the O'niel stuff when I first started out. Read all his books. After 1 year I began trading intead of investing. Now I am taking front end profits at the pivots where his followers are buying in (except when I'm shorting, of course).

You are making peanuts compared to what others make investing.

Many studies confirm long term investors reap much bigger gains than people who go in an out of positions. My own experience tells me the same.

Stock market is based on buying securities. Had they been not bought, there would be nothing to short. You couldn't even make a dime. Bears feed off rallies, they could not survive otherwise.

If the confidence in this country wasn't this low, things would have been different. Its a matter of psychological outlook in life, some people have dark side to themselves...mostly losers.

Its the weak psychological make up of American investors that feeds off these bear attacks. Things are not as bad as they try to delude themselves with.

I do invest in a seperate account, and I don't fault Oneil at all. Just got tired of the ads at his sight. His CANSLIM system has made many rich. So far this year, all my losses have been investments, all my gains have been trades. Unfortunately, my investments were larger. As a trader I take profits or cut losses at every pivot in the time frame. As an investor, I dont care about technicals except maybe on a monthly chart. Makes those peanuts look pretty good after booking my investment losses.
