Now I finally have verification that you're a kook. :)

Eisenhower placed 700 military advisors in Vietnam. By JFK's death he had increased our troop presence to 16,000. That's 23x more JFK than IKE. Not to mention it wasn't Ike's CIA who assassinated Diem.

As far as FDR you're swallowing the kool-aid hard. First off he was a war monger responsible for the death of over 400,000 American troops. He desperately sought war as a remedy to an economy that was NOT responsive to his socialistic implementations. To wit: In 1941, nine years after FDR was elected and 12 years after the 1929 crash, U.S. unemployment stood at over 14%. Two years into the war unemployment was under 2%. http://www.independent.org/publications/article.asp?id=138

I'm glad your finally studying...perhaps education will give you some real perspective. :) Yes Ike did send in the "military advisors" which is pretty much how we got into that mess.

re FDR
2 years into the war unemployment was under 2% duh...all able bodied men were at war and women employed in the factories supporting the war. During the depression what was the unemployment rate? Yes... FDR was a "war monger" the alternative was to allow Hitler to rule Europe.

We've spent trillions trying to contain Russian aggression because of FDR. He sold out Eastern Europe at Yalta. He bullied Japan into an attack. He campaigned in 1940 as a "peace" candidate. He was scum. History knows it. Why is there so little named after him? Because his legacy is tainted.

I'd rather have let Hitler "rule" Europe-where he was by and large liked-than allow the Soviets to enslave Eastern Europe behind an Iron Curtain that to some degree via Putin exists to this very day.

FDR was a commie admirer. Hitler was a threat to the expansion of communism in the West. Hence Hitler was enemy #1. Any President who fights Germany as an ally of Russia and who fights Japan as a de facto ally of soon to be Red China is one horeshit President. Not to mention the legacy of FDR socialist programs will continue haunting us until we're bankrupt.

Here Pabst, do me a favor. Take a dime out of your pocket and tell us who the picture is on it.

Oddly, the Poles did not like him. Nor did the Jews, and gays, and blacks, and the crippled, artists, the Russians, the English, the French, etc. etc.

The "socialist" programs don't seem to have doubled the debt in the last eight years.
