Market Closing early on Dec 31st?

Couldn't find this info anywhere. Wondered if Dec 31st was like Christmas Eve when the market closes at 1pm.

Anyone know?

I have it that floor trading of FX and Bonds futures ends at 1pm ET.

The rest of the US market goes on.

Regarding Europe; Germany and London markets close 13:15 GMT.
