I love this kind of days. High IV in the morning and a dead market in the afternoon. It makes my system perfect! To me the worse days are the days of a "mud slide". Lower IV and unidirectional market with a lot of saw teeth.

agree... two different animals. i'll take the former, along with you, spring and summer anytime. saw teeth are nice for me come fall-much easier to switch lines/direction.

in your delta hunt, you look for low delta?

I'm looking for the high delta and vega gong to be lower after I entered. If it does not work out I complete a strangle or a condor to be as neutral on delta as possible and start to hunt for the time decay.
