I looked up Upstart stock, and here's what I see. This Youtube video was uploaded on December 3, 2022, so the interview as well as his purchase would have been made before this date. Here's what happened. It was trading around $20 on 12/03/22 and it initially dropped to around $12. But then it soared to nearly $73 in less than 8 months, and you'd have made over 7 baggers if you held on (and got out at the very top
).My verdict: that was a very good investment.

This tells nothing about the capabilities of a trader.
I had a party once where a friend kept bothering me of a name of a stock where I'm in. Next gathering he was telling everyone how it is impossible that I make money in trading, because the stock went south.
Reality is that only about 40 procent of the trades I take go somewhere, all the rest is stopped out.
Besides that, if I had a platform like a TV show, I would talk a lot about a position I would like to exit and say that now is the best time to buy. The mass comes in and then there is no one left to buy. The perfect top created...

Mark Minervini has the right to sell whatever he wants because he is legit and has skin in the game unlike the majority of posters on this forum.
