Beheading videos and such terrorist propoganda ARE prohibited in France and the EU under anti-terrorism legislation. Sharing them is certainly a criminal offense. Possessing them on your computer could well put you on the wrong side of the law as could downloading them. Whether you want to make the parallel to child porn or ordinary porn it hardly matters.

LePen knew she was committing a crime but believed she was protected by parliamentary immunity under MEP rules. This was stripped from her by an overwhelming vote so she could be prosecuted.

In this case law prohibits the distribution of these violent images in a way that children may come across them. It is not the US. It goes not matter if they are in the public domain already. From another angle she has assisted terrorists in distributing their violent propaganda.

There is a simple rule in politics, don't give your adversaries sticks to beat you with. LePen committed a crime and now is dealing with her immaturity or calculated action. There were censored versions of the images about, she chose the most graphic ones.

The court will determine if she lashed out spontaneously or if the tweets were a per-meditated and cold attempt to shock the public for publicity.

Poindexter likes to fake stuff in photoshop, he even caught out Dest I expect as after reading whatever military release docs he posted, Dest thought Pointy worked as the personal assistant to a four star general who is now a Fox news guy.

You can be assured he is well practiced in image searches. It would have been a small matter for him to find and download docs/forms, alter them (if necessary, why not just pretend to be whatever identity he grabbed) and post photos of the prints.
