I hardly ever post but I do check on ur journal everynow and then to see how you're doing...
Your whole Princess predicament ...I can just think of this quote..
"..Let the wrong one goes...let the right one slip in.."
I'm a tad bit older then you, and I can tell you....just let her go..either make a last effort or let her go...the way she plays you is just totally unfair, I know you've invested a lot of your time into her but ...look at it this way...

Let's look at this from a different perspective. If you were losing constantly at work, you would have to admit that your approach didn't work. You would see that you had to change it. It is obvious to most of us that you are in exactly that situation with the Princess, yet you seem locked into your same losing approach. You seem to think the way to win a woman is to be a doormat, constantly tell her you are not worthy of her and profess that you will be there no matter how much she pisses on you. Winning strategy? I think not. Now most here seem to feel you should just jettison any thoughts of her and move on. I know you can't do that. What you need is a realistic plan to make yourself the man she is attracted to and not in the sort of loser "friendship" way you seem stuck in now, even when she relents and allows you to see her.
What to do? Ok, first and foremost, do not have any contact with her for a couple of weeks. This is crucial. She is feeling a tiny bit guilty and you want her to stew in it. After that, let her make contact. No calling her, hanging around her apartment building or classes hoping to see her "accidentally", none of that loser stuff. If you talk to her, keep it cool, no more "oh Princess, I am dying to be with you and be your doormat."
Get out and meet some other women. A trip to Orlando and spending some time with Katrina might be a great break. Does this mean you are abandoning the Princess? No, it means you are learning how to deal with women. You wouldn't let a newbie trade 5,000 share positions in NVDA would you? You'd start him off with small positions in a less threatening stock and let him develop his confidence. Ditto for you. It's called dating and a lot of guys and girls do it.
After a few months, maybe you arrange for her to find out you are seeing a few women. She begins to think maybe she was wrong. Competition is good for the economy, it's also good for relationships. She begins to think she has blown it. Here is a little secret : women value what they don't have or can't have, they devalue what is handed to them on a silver platter. Women dislike being put on a pedestal, they like guys who act like they are nothing special. Don't ever tell any woman you want to marry her or can't live without her. Believe me, they will start that kind of pressure soon enough on their own.
One last thing. Be damn sure you are going to be able to live with the Princess without having a grudge against her for putting you through this. She si young, she's not doing it to hurt you, so you don't have any reason to carry a grudge or resentment, but it is a pretty natural thing and very destructive.

I am well over twice your age, but I can well remember being your age. And I was a bit like you in a couple of cases, so I know the feeling. But I never totally lost control.
I was in the navy, Vietnam era, and my buddies and I saw âyouâ a number of times. Guys so sprung on a girl they literally couldnât think straight. Guys would go over the hill for some girl. Think the girl gave a tinkers damm??? Nope.
Guys would spend every spare penny (and in one unfortunate case more than he had) on the girl. Result: Tis better to receive than give was their attitude.
Every case of a guy being so overly obsessed (and that is what you are pal) ended badly.
Some cases, the girl just blew the guy off when she got tired of âplaying himâ. And talk about some mopey buttheads.. you shoulda seen it.
A couple of cases the ârealâ boyfriend put an end to it. (With a fist to my nose to make the point in one case)
And in one memorable case, the guy got his âprincessâ. And thenâ¦â¦
A daily case of anthrax would have been more enjoyable. This dork was scolded, abused, insulted, stolen from, and cheated on, in a manner most of us found amazing. Not only did he get his princess, but he got her mother too. LUCKY him.
And to top it all off, this guy was a most squared away sailor in every other way. Go figure.
Well, we just watched, nobody made fun of him in his presence, or questioned his judgement to his face, but we couldnât really respect a guy who was willing to be such a doormat.
Hitman, you seem to be squared away in most other respects. Why do you want to be, or are willing to be such a doormat?

I have seen âyouâ many times Hitman. I have never seen a happy âyouâ.

I will make it short:
If you can handle it, take any loving that she will give you (any lovin' is good love, so I took what I could get ...)
I really doubt that she means any harm, she is just following her own path. Years later, the bad will fade, and most of what you will remember is the good.
I know this is unconventional "advice," but it is what I had wished I had done in a similar situation...

A huge game psychologically as I absolutely had to win this one to offset some of the emotional damages I took on Friday. I already told her on Friday that I will need the weekend to heal some of my wounds, but there will be no collapse and by Monday I will come out strong.
It feels good to be true to my words as I am $120 away from my first five digit month since last March, with 3 games left on the schedule. For the first time ever, none of my top 4 winners of the day came from sector trading, that is the depth I always wanted.
10700 shares each way on 10 of 17 shooting, +1402 before commissions, +1154 after, 1 bullet.
Pre-Market: Housing numbers at 10AM made me think it is a gap and trap. Lower oil price but sector feels too strong.
9:30: The biggest lift I got from Don's open strategy since I started. 31 cents off C long, 30 cents off TYC long, 20 cents from AXP, 2 cents from HON, and LOW for whatever the reason I got only 200 shares filled and I scored a quarter point on it.
9:45: Bulleted MDC at 44.20 and did a horrible job holding on, got just $200 after bullet cost while the stock came in 2 points. Natural shorted HOV and got 35 cents. When the housing data was better than expected on Bloomberg I went long 300 shares LEN as it came in and CTX showed a BID and seemed to be ready for a big upside spread, ouch, I lost 60 cents on that one buying into a sell on the news, thankfully I didn't take too much.
10:00: Some guy from help desk called and said the specialist made a mistake and he thinks I can use 600 shares shorted from the open print now the stock is trading at 44.90. What a gift! Knowing me, with the full 800 shares I would have probably got 30 cents out, in this case I scored 45 cents (still left a lot on the table however).
11:20: Tried bottom pick ELK (predicted a Tony Oz reversal) and broke even. Scored 80 cents off MHK unfortunately via just 300 shares (it was the dead zone and market was tanking afterall) on a Tony Oz reversal.
2:00: Bottom picked SPF/KBH/MHO but I was totally caught off guard by the strength of the sell-off after what was a hard rally, ended up scratching the afternoon session.
I WILL NOT COLLAPSE, BECAUSE I HAVEN'T GAVE UP. I WILL BE STRONG, I WILL BE FAITHFUL.
