Manufacturer recommendations are a joke.

So I was looking at a bag of coffee today (18 oz. (510 g) bag of Starbucks house blend) and I'm reading the back.

It says 2 Tbsps (10g) per 6 oz. water. And a cup is 8 oz.

A standard drip coffee maker carafe can hold 12 8-oz cups of coffee. That's 96 oz.

So going by their recommendation, you'd need 16 Tbps per pot.

Who in their right mind would put 16 Tbps into the basket?

Well, isn't 2 teaspoons equal to 10g?
1 tablespoon is 15g.

Water per volume, since teaspoon and tablespoon are volume size.

Sorry i moved away from that BP station that gave free coffee[6or 8oz] with any amount of gasoline LOL.
Another way buy Nestle[or Always Save Blend] 7 oz for $7[Tax free in our state thru OCT 1st]

Mircowave 6-8 oz water per cup, then 1 teaspoon of Nestle Instant[I use Tulip Time Stainless teaspoon]
