Man's Best Friend Thread.

She's about as large as the horse's head. Adorable. :D
That's what I noticed also. My wife and her sister had horses when they were kids and raced them in Barrel(I think that's what they are called) shows. She's 5'4" now, I'm guessing she looked about the same as that girl. lol

Dang, I just lost my dog also... she was 15 1/2 human years... the vet said she was going to die a year and a half ago. Just enjoy every day with them...

Mines getting up there in age too, god I just can't imagine the day I have to put her down. She's so good. Always ready to play, in her mind she's still a puppy, but I can tell she's slowing down. Went out to the lake last week and she didn't want to swim after about 3 or 4 tosses of the stick. Used to be she'd do it for as long I'd keep throwing it. A little stiff too now when she first gets up.

I just keep feeding her the best food there is and remain constantly vigilant when she's outside playing in a new area. No drinking out of puddles or rooting around for something that might taste good like they all like to do. She's always sniffing things.

That's what I did also. I tried different things and watched her. Real meat (not canned) was a one part of her feeling as good as she could. My family said she was eating better than we were... LOL ...whatever it takes...
Someone said a dog gives you their whole heart, and every time we lose one, we lose a part of ours... but eventually our heart is completely replaced by the love of all those dog hearts.
Don't know that I am saying that quite right, but you get the drift.
