Manchin says he will not vote for Build Back Better: 'This is a no'

This joe Biden clown ran around saying he was going to bring everyone together. It seems he has. The nation is coming together and realizing this Joe Biden MUST Go.

We still have diehards like Bugenhagen and GWB-Trading who support this guy, but lets face it, those idiots are pretty much wrong on everything, so no one cares what they think.

To put things into perspective California aqueduct is something 400 plus miles and the US is approximately 2500 miles coast to coast. We can move the water and open up large areas of the country while doing it.

Joe Manchin just hit Joe Biden with a great big Let's Go Brandon.

Define, please.

Sure. We are moving into a long cycle of divided government with democrats having a very low probability of full control of the government for decades because the senate favors low population states that are conservative combined with the historic oscillation of the presidential cycle. Republicans should have a couple of good chances for full control of the government in these years. And that is the problem that will lead to a stagnant government.

I get you may like conservatism but what really has made America great, as we think of it, is big projects and programs. Whether it’s social security, medicare, infrastructure, science and research, etc the Republican Party of today just does not do that stuff. The republicans also are not very responsive to the “ neccessatates populi”.

At best, everything will just stay still in America but more likely things will decline and fall into disrepair.

You may dislike the democrats but they will spend the money and invest. We have taken for granted that the government will just sort of cycle through Republican and Democratic control and sort of saw the ebb from republicans and flow from democrats but we are leaving that phenomenon very shortly. It’s going to be a struggle in America relatively soon.

Biden could have fixed most of this with a voting rights bill that stops state voter suppression,a bill that ends gerrymandering and adding DC and a few territories as states. He just sits in The White House doing nothing though.

Private sector drives American power.

Yes and no. We should not give too much credit to the “private sector” lest we find ourselves a nation of an economy rather than a nation with an economy. An economy will exist no matter what as anyone who has read Adam Smith knows this to be self evident. An economy is not divine. It’s as natural as having a family and building a home.

The private sector does not build a nation nor is the purpose of a nation the private sector. The “private sector” and all human capital for that matter benefit from a well run nation. The good governance of a nation benefits the private sector. Things like roads, schools, hospitals etc increase business and grow the private sector.

And how exactly would Biden accomplish these things?

Yup. It's a multi-tiered dynamic though.

You have a whole tier of lefty progressives who are mad - not only becaused they did not get their free stuff but because they got played when they passed the first bill on a prayer and a wish that the second one would pass too.

But there is also a whole tier of dems that are not saying the quiet part out loud- WHICH IS THAT THEY ARE HAPPY AS A CLAM AT HIGH TIDE THAT THAT PIG DID NOT PASS AND NOW THEY DO NOT HAVE TO CAMPAIGN WITH THAT PIG IN THEIR FACE. Midterms coming right up. They don't dare to buck Pelosi or buck the Squad so they got cornered into supporting the whole enchilada. So now they are going around like those fake mourners that the North Koreans hire to mourn when a family member of high official dies. Then they go home at Christmas and think "wow, I am in a swing state and just dodged a major frigging bullet. I already have my hands full explaining Kamala's and Biden's shiite. I dont need to have to splain my own stupid votes. And if voters did want the program, I just blame it on Manchin. Thank you Lordy. You da man."

Swing state dems. Then the minute they get on the plane to go home, it's like someone flipped a switch and they are all smiles. If you squint real hard you can see Eric Swalwell in the back row there with a new girlfriend.

They had to pass the infrastructure bill because Joe Biden did not have anything to claim to have accomplished all this time. It is more an act of desperation and despite, numerous extreme liberal media lies, Americans see the empty suit Joe Biden is. Even if they held the infrastructure bill hostage and refused to pass it, Senators Joe Manchin and Kyrsten Sinema can still refuse the Build Back BS bill of theirs filled with pork and huge wastes of US tax dollars. That would have left Democrats with nothing to claim to have accomplished.

Being a good and tough president like Lincoln,FDR,LBJ etc. They all only required to be passed by Congress.

We wouldn't have ended slavery, pass the civil rights act etc if Biden were president during those times.
