At least there is one democrat who cares about this country. What a long way this party has fallen from the JFK days.

If I were the democrats I would not feel too bad though, I am sure there is some RINO that will bail Biden out.

Sen. Joe Manchin (D-W.Va.) announced on "Fox News Sunday" that he will not vote for President Biden’s “mammoth” climate and social spending bill, essentially killing the White House's top legislative priority.

"I cannot vote to continue with this piece of legislation, I just can't. I tried everything humanly possible, I can't get there" he told guest host Bret Baier.

"You're done - this is a no," Baier said.

Clowns like Romney are always up for voting to roll consideration of the vote out into 2022.

It's what they do. Kick the can and talk out both sides of his mouth.

The dems may/will try their luck with Manchin again on an more reduced cost figure. Christmas could come early or late for Manchin too to help influence him. As it did for Murkowsky on the first bill. Alaska made out very nicely.

It was always known Manchin was the type to go wandering off in the woods. The trick was to not upset him while he was looking for his way home. Big failure there from the progressives. They never helped the cause.

Joe isn’t done wandering in the woods yet. Give him a moon cycle and see if he’s found himself then. Just leave him alone.

Anyway, the failure here is Schumer. Manchin is going to be Manchin the progressives are going to be progressive, Schumer is supposed to get them rowing in the same direction.

Not to worry, I will continue to urge Senators Joe Manchin and Krysten Sinema to vote against other other Build Back BS bills the extreme liberals put out in 2022. That is a promise. And I will support Senators Manchin and Sinema considering extreme liberals are trying to remove them from office. Yes, I will send them both campaign contributions to help fight off the extreme liberal radicals in the Democrat Party. It will be money well spent.

Both Pelosi and Schumer are the legitimate targets for the progressive's outrage. Manchin is the quick and easy dog to kick today but the progressives repeatedly warned leaders of both houses to not pass the first bill without the second. They were forced to yield to the leaders and to accept their assurances that that was the better way to go. WOMP!!!

Now they/Psaki are trying to cover for Schumer and Pelosi by making it look like they had solid assurances from Manchin that they were justified in relying upon. Nope. I don't know anyone on the planet who thinks they had either Manchin or Sinema in the bag. WTF do they think the hoopla was all about anyway. They were uncomitted.

And no, Manchin is not lost in the woods. The dems are. Manchin has always known where home is.

Oh, and the dems will want to hang the parliamentarian too and try to overrule. They can throw eggs at the parliamentarian, and at Manchin and kick the dog. That might help a little. But Schumer and Pelosi are scalps they want. Maybe Biden too and Kamala but I think, along with everyone else, the dems don't really expect much from them anymore.
