Managing Accounts

I am also looking for an alternative to IB, platform sucks for FX and stock has been acting very poorly . Oanda is great but has no SIPC or FDIC, Citi Fx has larger spreads and no FDIC for non dollar accounts. Saxo is crooked I read, so what else is there ?
What about DB FX , any govt protection scheme ?

What are the PAMM offerings from bucket shops ?
 
Yeah what do you mean ? The platform is the same, and quotes are the same ? It seems as though they really developped their product , I looked at them last year and didn't see anything better than Oanda, now I am really impressed, funds are guaranteed, spreads are lower than Citi and similar to Oanda.
Ability to hedge also. I don't see anything I don't like here.

Why wouldn't you trade there ? I used FXCM in the past, left because of freezes and bad quotes
