Manafort jury tampering by media

How their minds don't work is still surprising some days.

Trumpers:
It's ok to pardon criminals stealing from the American public who associated with Trump

Trumpers:
Also ok to strip patriots with years of service of their careers and investigate over non-existing crimes.

Regardless, what is your argument here? That because collusion was not alluded to, Manafort should be acquitted of his financial crimes? Where's your outrage at his illegal tax avoidance?

The Captain is possibly a light fingered fellow himself? Someone who stole here and there (because they were ALL doing it!) will not see a problem with Manafort.

Regardless, what is your argument here? That because Russian collusion was not alluded to, Manafort should be acquitted of his financial crimes? At the very least, where's your outrage at his illegal tax avoidance?

What their little brains don't comprehend is that the political crimes are scheduled for another trial and were intentionally left off this one to increase the chances of a conviction. Knowing full well some in the jury could not remain objective.

Beautifully put. It should be set to music.

I don't know if I'd necessarily go that far, but I'd say the Cap'n is trying out his new set of blinders.

I have a bias.

The worst trumper I know in real life was in prison for fraud on a government contract in the 80s.

One day he is proudly telling me how he was going to "ruin a nigger landscaper who his fool neighbor hired and make him and his kids homeless" in court (he had cut a favorite branch on a tree in HIS property by mistake).

The week previously he told me all about how unfair his conviction was because the bosses above him got away with it, better lawyers. He stole the money but it was unfair bla bla bla.

These fuckers are unreal.

I don't know about that; maybe. But at the very least any conviction will serve as leverage to get Manafort to pry open his $15,000 ostrich kimono.

Yes, that's exactly what I'm saying. In all probability his rights under the fourth amendment have been violated and I'm also extending the "fruit from the poisoned tree doctrine". The origins of this investigation were fabricated, everyone knows this. Consequently all further charges and evidence stemming from the original fabricated charge are excluded and cannot be used against the defendant.
Is he guilty as hell of these charges? Probably so, but his rights have been violated. Happens all the time by corrupt prosecutors. Criminals walk as a result.
