No, your eyes are not playing tricks on you. That is a photo of a man walking a bootie-wearing duck up Van Ness—past a luxury real estate firm's office—with two tiny dogs peeking out of his pockets.

Hey DM.....
Kinda off topic...but this reminded me of it...
One time I was in SF walking along with a super hot babe.... and this dude jumped up out of no where....and scared the crap out of us....

You ever hear of "The Bushman"?

I think he died a few years back.... but it was hilarious at the time.

He camouflaged himself as a bush and then jumped up and "boo'ed" passer-byes down by the waterfront.

Didn't bother me.... she almost died.

No, not familiar with "The Bushman". I know of Emperor Norton another eccentric SF character from history.

Its all coming back to me lol.... we gave him money.

There was another guy whose name/ handle eludes me now who used to wear colorful tuxedos with matching top hat & cane, tap dance and sing at Union Square right by Saks Fifth Avenue and Border Books and Music ( no longer), sadly he too passed away I used to tip him every time.
