Yeah...they were protecting themselves and serving the people by not having the taxpayers support another criminal in one of our jailhouses.
I don't see the issue here. The violent drug crazed criminal has a long criminal history. He was throwing rocks at civilians, cars, and the police. He injured two police officers with his rocks. The police has already tried tazering the drug hyped criminal to no effect. He turned on the officers and looked like he has a weapon. He got what was obviously coming to him.
The guy probably got what was coming to him, but it doesnt change the fact that cops shouldnt be shooting people who dont pose any real threat. Alot of thses cops these days seem lazy, somewhere along the lines there was a disconnect where they seem to think they shouldnt have to mix it up with people once in a while, which is a part of their job description.
Sorry but if your a cop, a part of your job is getting the odd blackeye, they shouldnt feel like they should be free from any physical harm whatsoever, seems alot of them dont think they should even have to come in physical contact with the people they are arresting.

But some of those multiple offenders (druggies and violent crime types) are seriously out of their minds. They pull out blades, hypodermic needles, bite, etc.
At the end of the day,cops are just doing a job and want to get home to their families...without being killed, injured, or infected with a disease.

Fair enough, I think a large part of the problem is that we have alot of cops who frankly arent all that intelligent and we are forcing them to make distinctions that require deep analyses on the drop of a dime. I fuck up atleast a couple times a day in the stock market when forced to make a snap decision under pressure, and its only money, not my life on the line, so i can understand that their decisions are never going to be perfect.

I have two friends who became cops right before the age deadline. Let's just say neither of them were highly motivated people and neither were getting invited to join Mensa anytime soon.
There are a lot of bad cops out there these days, but, in general, cops should expect to do their daily tour without getting assaulted by some disrespectful piece of shit, who thinks he is running something.Totally agree.
