Just curious, why did $10k disappear from your account? Did I miss something?

then 10 minutes later I got my second buy signal and bought 4 more emini contracts.
boy was I scared at that point but I was proud of myself because I took the trade.
I sure glad I don't know much about the stock market because I could never understand why it does what it does. I understand Math and I understand computer logic. I just don't know why anything does what it does. and I don't know if i want to know. I just want to follow orders from my dear little ole computer. I will have todays statement later. I know someone will ask, why i didn't get out after it reached its high and
didn't make any more new highs. all I can say is I don't know why but the computer didn't tell me to get out.

Nice to see you are getting along so well. I wanted to mention this for the heck of it. My mom is (well lets say she is an older person) and she lives in a home that is on my property. She can see my offices from her place. Because I trade an account for her, she likes to watch the financial news, and a couple times a week I take her to dinner and she tells me "why" the market did what it did.
She always asks questions like "what are you people doing over there so late at night, and so early in the morning?" and I invariably say something like "well monday is satanic rituals, tuesday is gambling and drugs, wednesday we are sacrificing some virgins, thursday is voodoo night, and fridays we barbeque ribs". and she will get mad at me and say, "well don't give me that, just don't lose my money. You know you're never too big that I can't beat the hell out of you with a wooden spoon!" and I always say "Ok mom, don't you worrry".
