Sorry El OchoCinco, but this is where I have to strongly disagree with you. We have far too many losers on here who are looking spread their "knowledge", but its unfortunately anything but.Just focus on actual trade knowledge discussed and stop with the swinging dick competitions.
This whole thing started with Xela, who so many people held in high regard, but as destriero points out, could only recite shit you could find anywhere. When asked to go into detail about volume with reference to currencies, she folded.
Another example is @bone. Surely you would think that someone charging 7k for mentorship on trading spreads would know how to trade. Perhaps you get lots of knowledge from him, but how much of this translates into actually making money? Reading the thread about him from a few years back was a huge eye opener.
Time and time again I myself have asked the so called experts here to show some trades, share some stats, and I get nothing. @Sprout has this hugely involved method, which makes him sound knowledgeable, but what are the actual results?
A few months back was another thread about volume in general. Once again, you had guys who swear by it, and others who dismiss it. The pro volume guys would never show a concrete example of how it helps them.
The examples go on. Knowledge isn't really the problem, its applying that knowledge to extract profits. Real time calls in a trading competition is the absolute best way, and perhaps the only way. So many traders have a very good understanding of the market, some have a good understanding of themselves, but few have all the pieces put together. PnL is about the only way to decipher who has it all put together.
