Sure, there’s areas in my life that I’m not living up to my own standards. There’s also areas of my life that I too have a “small mind”. That’s just being a human being. It’s just chronic complaining has limited usefulness and lacks self awareness.

Perhaps you are not one, but when someone posts blatant lies it’s more a reflection of who they are then anything they are lying about.

Xela was an obvious fraud from post one. The Russian dating site avatar pic was a dead givaway. Handle revealed his pathology within a few posts. I, and I am sure, many others, had both on ignore as complete time-wasters.

The real question is why traders/market participants so often fall for this kind of obvious bullshit. You see it even at the highest levels. It is like there is some part missing in the trader psyche.

What is it about traders that causes this? High prevalence of mild Asberger's? Narcissistic personalitiy disorder? Psychopathic tendencies?

No, that's not correct. From post one, firstly, alex gave sound, patient and well drafted advice to new traders. Secondly, there was never any attempt to draw new traders in towards any training offer, sale of courses, DVD's etc., not even specific brokerages.

Bearing in mind I have seen his/her activity along these lines across three forums for at least 3 years. No scammer I've ever known of before has taken 3 years to get to the close.

It is not fraudulent only trying to sell products, but coming on her making yourself out to be something you clearly are not is what we are referring to. be helpful and give advice but don't invent some bullshit backstory.

To speak to the second part of your post -
Unbridled greed causes strange unintended consequences.

Every deal or trade has a price that must be paid. We get what we pay for and also what we feel we deserve. There has to be some balance when extracting profits from the market. This comes from giving back.

Volunteering is one of the best. It keeps one’s priorities straight, makes one realize that regardless of station in life, it can all change very suddenly and without warning so why give a hand up to those worse off?

This concept is completely foreign to a narcissist, psycho or sociopath.

They are just out for themselves.

If that’s true why come to a social forum?

For what purpose?
