Making JH' SCT and all his material alive

Why not go for the low hanging fruit and get proficient at that? Your confidence will increase and emotionally you will be on much firmer ground to work on taking more of the market's offer. These days 8 points ES is just a single trade of 2 or 3 bars duration.

And any pointers on how to do that...? :) Easier said than done, I think.

You mean 8 points is a single bar duration these days ;)

something to think about when deciding if discounting the overnight session is the right choice....

Hi Tiddlywinks ,
i'm in the process of migrating to Sierra. any chance you have a PRV tool you can share?
Thanks

Hi @nir

I just saw your post from a couple weeks ago. No need to use my stuff... I'll post instructions for a PRV setup you can do right now, right out of the box! I'll do that this sometime over the weekend. Besides, I have not refactored/recompiled for the 64bit version: I still use Windows 7, and the 32bit version of SC. If it ain't broke, don't mess with it!! :)

Regarding overnight volume... yea it sucks that globex "steals" many of the moves. I find ES very difficult to trade overnight. Based on the second A of my MADA, imo, the limited bar-to-bar overlap and bar ranges themself are just too little. Unless it isn't. I don't enjoy that type of trading... there's the signal, poof, "and it's gone" trading. NQ is the only US index I will trade outside of rth. JMO.

i don't trade the overnight session either but i definitely find including it in my analysis very beneficial. it just makes for a much more relaxed trading on the open with that context in mind.
thanks tiddlywinx
