What I deduce here is that2) The BO bar of the lateral gets a numeric label as well. The confirmation bar does not.
(the BO barof the lateral) = the functional BO
(the confirmation) = the technical BO
That's how I see the thing : bar 4 is the functional BO, bar 6 is the technical/confirmation BO. So bar 6 does not "need a numeric label".
Then, if you say what you said, this means I've put a numeric label on the confirmation bar. Which bar can be the one you point out here ?
Ic anoly be bar 5. Bar 5 has its close exactly on bar 1's low of the LAT. So, it must mean that in a LAT, if a bar's close ends out of the LAT, the next bar that either has its close ON or OUT of the LAT is considered the confirmation/technical BO.
This would then lead me to label bar 4 with the 4 numeric label AND not to put the 5 above bar 5.
Can you confirm please ?
Thank you, my bad. My interpreation of your " On your chart, that would be annotated by the number ‘3’ on the volume bar and the next sequential numbers above/below the corresponding price bars" has been influenced by what you explained some time ago when we were talking about turns : if a c-turn towards long trend, then put it under the PC, if an a- turn towards short trend then put it above the PC.3) The numbers incrementing the lateral are either a) all on the top or b) all on the bottom. You can offset them slightly, when getting into double digits.
Here, as for numeric labels of Lat's bars, you means in fact "choose a side". I choose to fix them above.
I had done so at first, but with the retro action I erased it and did what I did. After reading this :The Sym has a wait, therefore a strikethrough on the log.
, then it becomes clear. When I did what I did on the SYM row (I mean erase it and fill it) I felt I was doing wrong.2) The next row gets a 3 in the price case column ala Jack.
3) The next numbers defining the bars included in the lateral also get placed in the price case column ala Jack.
4) The price case of the intra-lateral bars then gets placed in the event column ala Jack.
5) Changes in the volume event via retro get placed in the retro column.
6) If a retro gets activated a retro label is placed on that volume bar.
Thank you very much, the end of the paragraph clears up some things for me ! Thank you !As a general note for your log;
In the T1 column, the gesture starts in the upper right hand corner, goes to the left and in accordance with Volume Element Ranges continues left as one does Rev Chron or circles counter-clockwise around the "F" in the cell to advance the trend. You are starting the gesture at the lower right hand corner. It's a minor nuance but could lead to confusion later due to how you build the habit. This will make more sense as one includes Rev Chron in the checklist of what processes to perform on every bar. Ie. when a 2nd P2 is > the P1 of that segment.
AND -> as Jack said "almost perfect is not enough" so thank you very much for warning about the gesture of the circle on the log.
I've constated along time that there are some slightly different logs matrix. The one I use is one fo those Jack provided and most of the log's pics' he shared. So, for now on the log I use, the column I see appropriate is the "additional notes". Feel free to make me use another log matrix is this one isn't the best to use. With the current iteration of your log your can write the sentiment of the current BM that is relevant in the appropriate Position column.
As an tangential exercise, you can zoom out and see how the gaussians of SCT now map as an independent overlay by keeping focus on two primary things:
1) pt2 of a slower trend is always (w/ infrequent exceptions) outside the TL of the opposite trend on the same fractal layer.
2) Increasing volume sentiment is included in the larger fractal container until a new Dom trend segment with it's associated pt2 BO the operating TL.
3) At times a trend gets interrupted and is better categorized as being incomplete as per the gaussian b2b2r2b and r2r2b2r when built from the granularity of the fastest fractal. ie. b2b(r2r)2b, etc...
If the last paragraph above doesn't make sense, don't worry about it and keep doing what you are doing. It'll reveal itself as you continue.
Right now i'm gonna incorporate the details and refinements I need to on my 03/27/19 chart, then fill the 03/28/19's one, and then I'll read and try to do that tangential exercise and see where it takes me to.
Thanks a lot for providing new exercise, especially when it echoes to something that drove me mad in the past. I'm motivated to understand anything about all the stuff, especially when that was something that made me have hard times.
Very best of IR and positive orders to you, have a great day !
