Makin $$$$ in 2003

i'm hoping to bump the performance up to at the much sought after 6 figure mark:at least 100k. method: trade bigger size, which is something i've struggled with time and time again. still, i figure of really gotta take advantage while what i'm doing is working.
 
3 ticks on the good side with ES each days or each trades, very conservative ! 32.70 US X 1.55 = 50$ CAD. Until regaining what I lost with NT... will take times :)

It is first a problem of capital.

I expect a 40% return.

Happy with 80%

Very happy with more than 100%

But if i had 25k$ i will only be happy with at least a return of 200% even if it seems very hard because 25k$ is not enough to DT

I'd personally like to take 200 k from the market, but I have a pretty poor payout, so on that i'd would make about 75 k after cost.

If your commissions are very low then a low payout is okay. There is really no difference between having very low commissions (3-7 cents per share) and a low payout (ie. 30-40%) and having higher commissions (10-15 cents per share) and a high payout (ie. 80-99%). In the former case, you'll get a lower percentage of a higher net profit number than the latter case. These two scenarios are just different ways to market the same thing. The problem with very low commissions is that you tend to overtrade since you know tickets are cheap and this brings down your ticket average (profit per trade). Higher commissions help you be more selective with your trades. It's a strange psychological phenomenon!

 
$10,500 and see if I qualify for any type of welfare in NYC. Otherwise, its back to working the streets for me. This especially since this market is not gonna move much all year long. This market will stay between 7,500 and 9,000 all year long (mostly in a tighter range or course), possibly just brushing outside of one of these levels. Of course, if I had the guts to put my money where my mouth is, I'd spend a fortune on futures contracts with distant expirations and make a lot more than my goal above.
 
If wagering on the value on Monday for some of the NFL teams counts, then I'd have to bump my income to $12,500. I mean, really, Oakland is a no brainer (which is perfect for me, since I have no brain).
