Rocket Man will or can have his nukes and/or biological/chemical weapons already in place in the US. Helicopter radiation detectors don't work unless someone is severely stupid, it is theater to discourage uneducated radicals.
So... Kill Kim and you can be sure there is a real chance of losing NYC, LA, Washington.

Trump should make some economic/strategic concessions with the Chinese and Russians in return for the Chinese commitment to send in a team to kill the guy, and the Russians to be OK with it. The Chinese are the closest to him, have contacts in his network and are in the best position to carry it out.

Perhaps China would like to own NK ?
There are no good options. If there were, we would have used one of them by now.
China is almost totally responsible for this situation, going back to the Korean War and continuing with their support. The only feasible way of resolving it is to turn the tables on them. For a long time, China has used NK as leverage with the US. They would pretend to lean on NK if we cut them slack on trade deals or trade-related misconduct.
Now that the Chinese economy is totally dependent on trade with the US, we have leverage. Obviously China does not want NK starting a nuke exchange with their best customer. So that is in our favor. Beyond that, a president with the balls to do so could force China to pull the rug out from under Rocket Man.
Another option is to privately tell China that we will hold them responsible for any attack from NK and respond with a full nuke counterstrike on them as well as NK.

The US is estimated to have killed 20 million directly or through sponsoring and government prop-up since WWII. China South Korea & Japan would probably have handled the Jong Un family a long time ago had it not been for the US' hopeless geopolitics. Every new administration or change of congress things change, friends are abandoned to the wolves and the corruption continues.
The USA is a bad guy, not a good guy. The thing that is certain, when the US gets involved shit gets worse. The brainwashed public who see danger where there is none and freak at spider shadows.
