Anton was indeed the hired help on the series "million dollar traders" which replicated the turtles experiment in 2008. Very entertaining series which I've watched a few times.
He has since set up something called the institute of trading and portfolio management. This is their youtube channel. The Florida video is the latest instalment. I have a confession to make; I have "watched" all of these videos. Reason being I find it hard to work in complete silence (too much time spent on trading floors), and find it helpful to have some kind of trashy TV on in the background (Bloomberg is too distracting - I don't need or want to know what the market is doing and the adverts are insanely annoying). This kind of dross is perfect.
They offer courses and mentoring to aspiring traders with some kind of incubation deal afterwards. Naturally I haven't been on one of these courses as (a) I don't need them (b) they are awfully expensive and (c) I have a generally low opinion of these kinds of courses (the median course that is out there is dangerous crap, and at best has material you could get in a $50 book).
However... and it pains me to say this because Anton is clearly a man who looks in the mirror every day and sees the cleverest and most handsome man in the world... based on what I can glean from watching the publicly available videos I would say the courses are probably better than most of the dross that is out there, since Anton probably knows more about his chosen subject (long:short fundamental equity investing) than the average person running one of these courses.
I still think he's a prat though. And I use that word deliberately to send all you US based people scurrying for "google translate British - American".
