so Le Pen's one being financed by the UAE : after all they are all politicians who know
which hands feed them. I suppose the electors will have to assume that she will not be

She could simply have asked for the individual public to finance her campain - even many
who would not vote for her would have pitched in, if she had explained clearly how the banks
were making life difficult for her. French people still have a culture of wanting democracy
to be the deciding factor on who is President, not just the banks.

I am not familiar with the French law but I have read that Presidential candidates can not accept loans from foreigners or foreign entities.

Anyway, from what I understand, French politicians have been historically financed via African dictators : that is what is called "FranceAfrique".
Le Pen hinted she would stop that , but now, as she is in fact going for North African/Middle East : that's a pandora box with long term consequences she has may be no idea of. President Holland basically got kind of forced and forbidden to represent himself because of his being in bed with some Middle East things, and she is getting into that????
