That's a really f*cked up thing to say.
But you must understand how they got there in the first place. They were CONDITIONED by the media (mostly media, although there are others like their family and friends) to spend beyond their means to live out their "American dream". It's the overconsumption that is the cancer of our times, especially in the USA.
Stupid, that's like saying that not killing enough people is bad for your kill score. Sociopaths are bad for society in virtually all cases, that's why you end up with a bunch of elites who enslave the rest.
Don't cry us a river. Germany does way better in terms of broad based societal benefit and welfare than the US. Can't be all that bad to speak German. Lol.
Welfare and being rewarded for being a victim is another leading cause.
