These ballots were discarded because the voters didn’t use secrecy envelopes. If you’ve ever voted by mail, absentee or otherwise, you know this is basically an envelope that holds ballot inside the envelope you mail.
To be fair, the state law is written specifically to invalidate mauled ballots without the secrecy envelope.
So what’s the rub, you might ask - this is good - democrats are currently suing to have the secrecy envelope stipulation invalidated and Republicans are arguing against.
The irony is democrats are fighting to get those seven republican votes validated and republicans are fighting against it.

It's becoming apparent that this is a GOP/WH operation to undermine PA/WI/(insert state) votes and bring forth "faithless electors" by casting doubt on the legitimacy of the vote.
