Mags

This is totally ridiculous. Anything that has security, surveillance, defense, monitoring etc. in its company description goes up like crazy.

The most exciting game in all this is to guess when it crashes.

Do I sense correctly that a lot of good stocks are being ignored because of this stupid security bubble?

Hahah! Lol, you remind me of (the old) me man, the way you shoot off at the mouth about stuff you apparently don't know shit about.

No, you're the smart guy throwing cash down the shithole with your "prop trading". God you suckers are hilarious. Even more so because you don't even realize just how great suckers you are. You'll realize it one day. (Seriously, you will...but have fun with the fantasy...it is fun for a while.)

.No offense but your strategy is equivalent of picking out a few low priced Naz stocks that have some fundamentals behind them and waiting.

No offense, but it's nothing like that at all. Glad you think so, though.

Yeah, I'm throwing money away with prop trading except I NEVER RISKED ANY OF MY OWN MONEY. Dumbass, I've gained greatly from prop trading since Nov 2003 and I also have a separate account for long term holds and swings with options which is UP by over 50%.
Pretty stupid assumptions just because I had an opposing view of this bubble "investing" strategy. If you make money cause you got in early, then great.

Mecro,

This is not a "bubble investing" strategy. This is a market strategy that happens to have plays/moves exemplified when the broad market is in a speculative "buy happy" type of mood.

RIMM all time high was 148 on 3/12/2000
ASKJ all time high was 186 on 11/16/1999

RIMM was in the 180's in late 99 or early 00 -- I know because I sold shares at that level and a few months later they were worth 40 or so... Had I only known :(

ASKJ was a funny one "in the day". It could move 10 pts on under a million shares...
