MAGAtts strandled in cold for hours: It was only cold because of all the thermometers

Thousands of supporters were stranded in the freezing cold following President Donald Trump’s rally in Nebraska due to a shortage of buses, including at least seven who were reportedly hospitalized.

Trump held another packed, mostly-maskless rally in Omaha Tuesday night, in an effort to secure a single Electoral College vote. The crowd was estimated at anywhere between 6,000 and 10,000, or as Trump put it, 29,000. White House press secretary Kayleigh McEnany tweeted up close evidence of the crowd size and mask compliance.

This was awful to see. Senior citizens needed to be treated for hypothermia. I’m thinking this rally resulted in a net loss of voters for Trump.

Trump would have told them there were no buses, but he didn't want to create a panic.

“That’s all the media talks about! BUSES, BUSES, BUSES!!!! HYPOTHERMIA, HYPOTHERMIA, HYPOTHERMIA! You won’t be hearing about hypothermia on November 4th, believe me.”

Trump supporters being left out in the cold is sort of a metaphor for his presidency...

Trump Fans Stranded in the Cold for Hours, Yet Again, After Georgia Rally: Report
https://www.thedailybeast.com/trump...-for-hours-yet-again-after-rome-georgia-rally

Last week, several Trump supporters were hospitalized after being stranded in freezing temperatures in Nebraska for hours after the president jetted away from a campaign rally on Air Force One. The exact same thing happened after a Saturday night Trump event in Pennsylvania. Unbelievably, the campaign still hasn’t learned from its mistakes. According to Julie Tsirkin of NBC News, hundreds of Trump fans in Georgia were left abandoned in 46-degree temperatures for hours overnight following the president’s rally in Rome. For the third time, there appeared to be an issue with transporting people back to their parked cars.

Look at his history even before he became president. He's always left everyone out in the cold. Creditors, investors, employees, other stakeholders, and now voters. So what else is new? Suitable metaphor indeed.

Although, living in Canada, I find it curious that 46-degree weather is characterized as "freezing," and people needed to be hospitalized. I've gone for brisk walks in shorts and t-shirt in slightly colder weather than that (admittedly by mistake because I read the weather report incorrectly).
