This is a tripping thread. I figure if you want to wear a mask, wear one, If you don't want to wear a mask, don't. If a business kicks you out because you're wearing a mask, go on there are other stores/restaurants. If they kick you out for not wearing a mask, same thing. and whern you end up in court, just tell the judge you didn't want to wear a mask. I'm sure he'll understand.

Lot of the posters on this thread, other threads I've seen, etc make me think I should be out in public, checking women out and screaming at them for wearing underwear. Hell, to be fair, men too.

I mean, why not? If your belligerence muscle gets excited about people wearing masks, just thing how much more excited it would be about people wearing underwear?

Wearing a mask is at this point no different then dealing with smokers years ago. The initial reactions were you can't ban smoking in public places, nobody will go bowling or bars with no smoking, it's my personal right to smoke if I want, second hand smoke isn't not really killing people prematurely, ... . And the lobbiests were out spreading false medical "evidence".

We got through that and smoking is fucking banned as it should be. If people want to sit in a smoke filled room in their house reducing their life expectancy they are welcome to. But not in public spaces we all have to use.

The virus is a temporary event that will eventually be over. Minimizing illnesses and deaths now is very important. So I have zero patience for people who don't want to wear a non-medical mask in potentially crowded indoor public places. Zero. I don't fucking care who thinks otherwise.

Why do you post useless shit that means nothing ? Not only have I never said the world was going to end by the year 2000, I don't even think this virus will be an issue at all in a year. I have posted in March that I expect a full economic and market recovery in roughly one year. I invested heavily in markets on March 23rd starting purchases the preceding week.

In fact, when it comes to the future and the economy, I have been one of the most optimistic voices on this site since the year 2010.

Look, I know the echo chamber effect on here and how some of you get the vibes your opinions are respected and run with it. Doesn't change the reality that your ideas are actually potentially destructive to others not helpful at all.

You post all this shit online and the US is struggling with 50K infections a day, Canada 200 maybe 300 on a bad day. I actually met a normal emotional maturity for his age American boomer last night. It reminded me that what we have here on ET is a case older men with immature teenage minds (to younger).
