The discussion is about the LE organizations pulling out of their agreements to provide security for the DNC. And why they are doing that.

Or did you want to simply discuss the DNC by itself? Perhaps who will be at the convention, and what clothes they will be wearing?

The rest of us were discussing the security arrangements. In fact, you were responding to my post and questioning my thinking, which was about the handling of riots by police who don't want to work there.

then why did you start a conversation with me when I was so obviously discussing law enforcement and their decision to pull out of the agreements?

If the Democrats want to defund the police then they should not be surprised when police departments pull out of having any involvement with their convention.

Now the Democrats will need to do what they expect all the merchants and middle class to do -- hire their own private security.

I submit that nothing regarding their ability to fulfill their obligations has changed since their signing of the contracts. Support your assertion and show us where this is the case.

Reveal to us which agencies have actually been defunded to a degree where they can't fulfill their contractual obligations.
