The items I highlighted in red from the manifesto are not right wing views IMO, which was the article's point. Did you actually read the Q and A from the article? You either completely missed the point of my post or you simply can't accept the parts of the manifesto that you don't agree with. Nothing in the manifesto of a mass murderer should be considered irrelevant.

To answer your question...I resolve the contradiction by reading the entire manifesto. You should do the same and do it with an open mind. He obviously had conflicting views.

He stated that his current views are aligned most closely with that of China...a country actively persecuting Muslims. Factor that in.

Hard to parse where the guy was trolling and where the guy is serious. What we know is he acted on views and targeted the Muslim community in overlap with rhetoric expressed by Trump. The guy could not have been trolling and just been a complete nut job, in which case all bets are off. This is in differentiation of other coherent nut jobs that go on killing sprees.

If he's an anarchist and just wanted to create chaos by expressing conflicting views, then his action were still racist as he didn't target indiscriminately.

Agreed. I wonder now if that wasn't by design because he knew that such praise by itself would create more hate between left and right in the US. He made comments about his actions being designed to create strife, including the 2nd amendment in the US. Why would he praise Trump in one part of the manifesto while stating a complete hatred of conservatism in another?
