The updated budget now includes a projected 2019 deficit of $1.085 trillion, up from $984 billion in February — and more than double the $526 billion the White House called for in its 2018 budget.
“This is a striking acknowledgement following almost two years of claims that economic growth unleashed by these policies will wipe deficits away,” said Maya MacGuineas, president of the Committee for a Responsible Federal Budget.
Meanwhile, the average growth rate projected over 10 years has dropped under 3 percent.

And you can't show a single Obama initiative that added to structural deficit. Deficits under Obama fell each year while the deficits are spiking now

The problem is CPI is outpacing wages. The American worker is still losing and Trump is not making any headway on China devaluing the Yuan.
His numbers are mostly in trend with what Obama handed him with the exception of federal debt and, ironically, the trade deficit. Both have spiked under his watch as a result of misguided and stupid policies. There is also retaliation for his tariffs are having an impact on our goods selling overseas.
