As for the economy, Trump has done nothing but continue what he inherited while he blew up the budget for the small increases in GDP. All that debt, you think Trump is going to pay for it? The middle class will as usual.

It pisses me off to see Trump approve increased government spending. However, looking at the epic number of highway infrastructure projects currently in progress, I have to wonder if Obama let our infrastructure go to pot under his administration. Trump did say Obama left a mess.

However, this is an area I also need to research. A true businessman abhors big government because he understands that lack of effective accountability and lack of business understanding causes inefficiency and waste from poor regulations and the discouragement of business investment and hiring because of worsening tax policy.

To see Trump approve a government budget increase during economic growth is definately questionable. Maybe he made the mistake of offering an olive branch to the Democrats.

If so, he hopefully will not make that same mistake in upcoming budgetary battles.

Judging by all the road construction and bridge repairs I see travelling the US and the fact that 90% of highway projects are Federally funded, I assume Trump signed off on this. While the amount of construction appears to be at historic levels, I would like to see the statistics on not just on money spent, but on amount of materials used, number of projects completed, and miles of road replaced or repaired. Trump did mention the infrastructure in the US needed work.

It sounds like you are leaving out a lot of information here. A logical question is: "Where is the money going" in the new budget. Like they say, the devil is in the details. Few probably look into the US budget in aggregate. I have in the past. The basis for many potential investigations of politicial corruption are in there. It is interesting the Democrats choose to make up a story about Russia rather than sincerely attack Trump of specific budget items. Could it be they fear the repercussions of them signing off on it, especially since much of the budget increase apparently benefits them?

I am all for assigning a special prosecutor to go through the Federal Budget line by line and using that information to go after both sides of the aisle.
