So let's parse this...
Today I am in Toronto. (ask the moderators where I am posting from)
It is very cold. (look up the temperature in Toronto)
I am watching the police outside our building trying to convince the homeless to come inside for shelter. (Call the police in Toronto and ask them about their activity today to bring in the homeless from the cold in downtown, it is a widespread problem).
Toronto provides very nice, free, safe rooms for the homeless. (Go look at the Toronto government website and local media sources for information).
Yet the homeless rather stay outside squatting on the frigid sidewalk. (Ask the Toronto police their success rate in bringing in homeless from the cold.)
Explain to all of us why we should be spending huge amounts of tax money on this issue.
